Recently there were two glad news.
The former is peace agreement signing to conclude conflict in Mindanao island, Philippines.
The latter is peace negotiation which was resumed comes to cessation.

World peace: What kinds of superstitions do you have?

Do you have any kinds of superstitions or jinx?

I’ll tell you about my family’s superstitions. .. Actually,

I have no superstitions or jinx.

But my family has various jinx and superstition.

I don’t know where it was from ~.

For example, my mother has tooth fairy superstitions.

She thinks that throwing teeth onto the roof brings good

luck.

 

And she hates number 13.

she thinks number 13 is unlucky.

Because she believes that Jesus died thirteenth day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

My brother has a superstition too.

He believes that having seaweed soup brings bad luck,

especially on the test day. So he never eats seaweed soup

if it is a test day.

 

In Korean,  people think that seeing a yellow taxi is very

lucky. And seeing or hearing magpie in the morning brings

good news.

But seeing crow or hearing crow’s cry brings bad luck.

And stepping on threshold brings bad luck, too.

Here are some other superstitions

Many people believe that you’ll have good luck..

 If you find a four-leaf clover..

If you find a horseshoe…

If you give a new pair of shoes to a poor person.                                                                                                                                                                                                

 Many people believe that you’ll have bad luck..

If a black cat walks in front of you.

If you walk under a ladder.

If you open an umbrella in your home.

If you put your shoes on a table.

 

What kinds of superstitions do you have?

I think if we want to keep peace, we have to sing a song like this.

Singing a song has power to change this world better.

From 30 years ago, this song have been sung by people,

and then we gradually have been getting a peace between black and white.

Bucket list

What is your bucket list?

Have you written about it? Even if you didn’t write it on the paper, maybe you have thought about it.  Here is a little girl’s very simple and humble bucket list.  I think it is important to just write down about it.

Let’s see ~  and then let’s write down about own bucket list.

 My name is Joanne.

Today I’d like to tell you about my bucket list.

 First, when I am a college student, I will travel around Europe because traveling around (especially Europe) is my dream. From movies and books I had seen beautiful landscapes in Europe  many times.  So  I  want  to go there.

Second,  I will go to Disneyland in America.

since I was a child, I sometimes have been to  Everland in young-in city, I felt so excited.

I know Disneyland is one of the biggist  amusement parks in the world.

I will go there,  so I will have many funs with a childish mind. kk

 

Third, I will learn how to play the guitar.

I like music ,  so  when I am free,  I listen to music and play the piano.

In U-tube, I have watched someone play the guitar many times. Sound of guitar is very good.

So I’d like to play the guitar.

 

 

Forth, I will take care of my body.

For my health, I will do something like yoga, eating healthy food, and walking more often.

I want to stay healthy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And last one is going to Israel. Because I am a Christian, so I wonder the place jesus lived in.  

I know it is very difficult to go to Israel. Because Israel have been fighting against Palestine, so traveling around Israel is very dangerous.  They are always in war. I think God doesn’t want them to fight each other. They need peace. Really. If they quit fighting, I can go to Israel.    

 As I write this, I want to experience many things.

A list will be just a list, I know the act is very important to me .
