Boston Marathon Bombings, Tragedy of Terror and Peace

Every third Monday of April there is an annual Boston Marathon. Boston Marathon has a long history of tradition, and its’ popularity and scale is worldwide. But last year, a terrible tragedy occurred. Four hours after the start of the marathon, a bomb terror went off at the finish-line killing and wounding so many people. The scene was a disaster: people were covered in blood, missing body parts, screaming and crying was all over the street. A marathon that was supposed to be peaceful and meaningful turned into a brutal terror scene. Many people will be in pains even today just remembering the day.

It was a while ago, I have seen a peace advocate on a US news, and I was touched by him. His name is Man Hee Lee. He went around the globe to achieve world peace. He met presidents and religious leaders of countries to spread peace. If people around the globe truly wants world peace, there won’t be any wars, terrors in our future. In few days, this year’s Boston Marathon is being held. I really hope there won’t be any tragedy ever again, and let this marathon become enjoyable and peaceful event.

Man Hee Lee ha traído la paz en Mindanao

MANILA - Una nueva era de paz se ha iniciado en la isla de Mindanao , una región afectada por una larga historia de conflicto religioso entre católicos y musulmanes que se ha cobrado más de 100.000 vidas. El movimiento por la paz , encabezada por el defensor de la paz Hombre Hee Lee, de Corea del Sur es la tercera visita de Lee a las Filipinas desde Corea del Sur a petición del arzobispo Antonio J. Ledesma y otros líderes religiosos y estudiantes.

Man Hee Lee has brought peace in Mindanao

MANILA— A new era of peace has started in the Mindanao Island, a region stricken by a long history of religious conflict between Catholics and Muslims that has claimed over 100,000 lives. The peace movement, led by peace advocate Man Hee Lee from South Korea marks Lee’s third visit to the Philippines from South Korea at the request of Archbishop Antonio J. Ledesma and other religious leaders and students.

On 23rd of January, Messenger of Peace Man Hee Lee met with Archbishop Ledesma and other bishops of Cagaya de Oro, who signed the Peace Agreement for ending war and achieving world peace. Although the previous Peace Agreement meeting hosted by the Philippine government and the Islam autonomous region was signed in 2012, violent killings have since interrupted the call for peace. Now, through Mr. Lee’s efforts to meet with religious and city leaders, empowering youth and the united signing of Mr.Lee's Peace Agreement, the Filipino government and its citizens were able to see a change in their nation from death to life. They expressed their gratitude to Mr. Lee by commemorating the memorable day with a peace festival in the city.

The work of peace advocate Man Hee Lee is becoming recognized throughout many nations as this visit to the Philippines marks his 8th World Tour. He has since traveled to over 58 countries to advocate the message of peace.

Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region and International Relations in tension.

After Russia’s annexation of Crimea, it has deepened the tension in international relations. After the incidence, many countries have claimed the unfairness of the annexation. Articles about how Russia manipulated to have the annexation, how the government threatened the party who are against it are flowing in and it has brought an unamiable atmosphere in the international relations. If the tension among countries are to grow, there is a high risk of possibilities in wars. How long does this war has to continue (which is taking lives of people) just for the purpose of benefits? It would be better if we could solve this matter in peaceful ways. When Mr. Man-Hee Lee first visited Germany and did an interview, it was quite a shock. Many press and broadcasting companies, such as Leipzig Fernsehen Television and Nordberliner weekly-newspaper, were in a competition of airing him on their media. As his steps traveling the world proclaiming peace for the world, I could not stop thinking that he is the righteous man we need for our future. I’m hoping for the true world peace which is following nearer in the paths of his steps.

Tratado de paz en Filipinas : Un coreano que ha hecho que

¿Sabe usted acerca de la isla de Mindanao en Filipinas ?

Mindanao se encuentra en Filipinas meridionales , donde el musulmán llamado ' Moro ' que están ocupadas alrededor del 5% entre el 85% de las personas que creen católica en Filipinas en vivo.

Peace treaty in Phillipines : A Korean Has Done it

Do you know about the island Mindanao in Phillipines?

Mindanao is located in southern Phillipines, where the Muslim called 'Moro' who are occupied about 5% among 85% of the people believing Catholic  in the Phillipines live.

Because of their struggle for independence there have been constant armed conflict between Catholic and Muslim  since 1968 , that is for 40 years.

150000 people have already  sacrificed their lives due to this struggle until now.

But embers of Peace is sparked in this troubled area.

On January 24, With  the delegate of Catholic and Islam,  autonomous governor in Mindanao in attendance, they  agreed to the pact for ending the war and world peace. 

In the background  of their peace  treaty there  was a Korean.

Last January 24, Man Hee Lee, he is representative a corporation aggregate  of Peace  visited  Mindanao.

 They  carried out the Walk for Peace and Restoration with youth and about 1000 religious leaders  transcending their own region and faction.

Even though  it was treaty of non-governmental, government of the Phillipines recognized autonomy of Islam in Mindanao and  there must  be a catalyst  of the pact  that  ' Moro national Liberation Front' will be disarmed  gradually. 

Then, How they  concluded the peace agreement? 

Representative Lee of Peace grasped and understood that the struggle in Mindanao is mostly caused by religious conflicts. So he met religious leader and persuaded them  to appreciate this fact.

Ousted president Lamos acknowledged it with  deep gratitude and he said that

" Mr Lee Has  Done  what I hadn't "

After Peace Treaty,   Mr Lee was invited by not only a national broadcast such as PTV but also many press. And the news about  peace  treaty  is widely known  by the media.
